Sunday you start the tour on your own. There are 2 tour suggestions in the wagons. One starts along the coast with your first overnight at Tiselholt. This is for those who found the trial tour easy. Here you find the steepest hills on the tour.
If you want to start more gently, you drive instead to Tved on the first day. It is a shorter and less challenging tour of about 1½ hours drive. The difficulty of the tour is more gradual, day by day.
If you’re good at reading maps, can handle the horses and don´t want a written tour to follow, you can plan your own tour zig-zagging between the 5 camping areas. There is a maximum overnight stay of 2 nights at each camping area.
